Flair Excellence Awards 2026: Celebrating Outstanding Contributions and Leadership

The Flair Excellence Awards 2026 were held on 20 August 2026 at the Sri Sumangala Auditorium, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The ceremony was organized by the Flair Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with the Career Guidance
Unit.
The Flair Excellence Awards provide a platform to recognize individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment and excellence in their respective areas of contribution. The awards celebrate not only individual achievement, but also the values of leadership, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, and dedication that continue to shape the Club’s journey.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Eranga, Director of the Career Guidance Unit, who presented the awards, together with Mrs. Chathurangani Thennakoon, Club Advisor and Senior Career Advisor of the Career Guidance Unit.And also Dr. Sameera Jayawardane, Mrs. Nirosha Madhuwanthi, and Mr. Tharindu Rangana from the Career Guidance Unit were present at the occasion.
Throughout the 2025/26 term, the Flair Club carried out a diverse range of projects, including Rhythm to Personality, G Tune, Nachna, Susara Thelituda, Theatro, and Dhaara.
Recognizing that the success of these initiatives was made possible through the collective efforts of many individuals, Organizing Committee members who contributed to these projects were also presented with certificates of appreciation at the ceremony.
The first set of recognitions highlighted excellence in specialized areas and overall contribution to the Club by the former Executive Board members.

The occasion also marked a significant evolution in the Club’s leadership with the appointment of the new Executive Board for the 2026/27 term. As the Club celebrated the achievements of the outgoing term, the appointment of the new Board marked the beginning of a new chapter, carrying forward the spirit of excellence and service while embracing new leadership and opportunities.
The Flair Excellence Awards 2026 therefore served as both a celebration of achievement and a reflection of the collective effort behind the Club’s work, honouring those who contributed to its journey while inspiring continued excellence in the years ahead.
