We are looking for a young, energetic, efficient person to be employed as an Accounts Executive

 

Job Profile

  • Basic book-keeping skills, including consolidations, reconciliations, bank payments
  • Ownership of both sales ledger and purchase ledger
  • Solid understanding of local tax and regulatory knowledge, e.g. VAT and NBT, and the associated laws
  • Providing advice to the UK team on local and national taxes and regulatory knowledge
  • Assisting with the transition from paying by cheque/cash to BAC5 on Volume’s standard payment terms
  • Managing the petty cash for the SL entity
  • Bank reconciliations on Volume’s internal finance software, Paprika
  • Managing the Excel cash book
  • Negotiating better terms with Volume’s current suppliers
  • Assist with payroll preparation and procedures
  • General day-to-day office support and administration

Job Requirements

  • University Degree,AAT, CAB I, CAB II,
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to easily spot errors
  • A proactive, professional and credible approach
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Good organizational skills used in planning own work
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Good English skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence to communicate effectively, both internally and externally
  • Ability to priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
  • Able to respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Good analytical ability
