“Illuminate” is the latest venture of Gavel Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura to give undergraduates from all over the world the chance to let themselves be heard virtually while healing the minds of the others.
The online speech competition consists of 3 rounds. The applicants can send in videos of them delivering a speech for the Preliminary round. The Semi-final and Final rounds will be held online via Zoom. A topic will be given for each round where the applicant should deliver the speech on keeping in line with the theme of “Heal the Mind”.
